Many European nations continue to experience difficulties dealing with the influx of refugees fleeing war-torn Syria. Sweden, in particular, has seen an inordinate amount of violence against women from so-called harmless immigrants.
One Swedish mother who thought she’d try to extend a helping hand to a couple of refugees ended up putting her own child at risk.
The women, who was not identified, moved her 10-year-old daughter, Emma, out her bedroom to make room for two young male refugees from Eritrea, a majority Christian nation in East Africa. The boys took Emma’s room and Emma had to sleep in her mother’s room, according to Swedish publication Fria Tider.
On Aug. 18, 2015, Emma woke up to one of the boys squeezing her chest. She suffered pain from the incident but was afraid to tell anyone because she didn’t want her mother getting in trouble. She did, however, tell one of her friends, and eventually more people became aware of what happened.
The boy, Isaac, was confronted and admitted to groping Emma’s breasts after denying it at first.
Isaac’s age is somewhat of a mystery, as he claimed to be only 15, but he started school in Eritrea when he was 10 and continued to go to school for an additional seven years. That would make him 17 years old.
Nevertheless, a judge in the Lund District Court has decided to proceed with a charge of juvenile sexual assault, according to The Daily Caller.
Because Isaac is only 15 in the eyes of the court, his punishment for the crime was simply counseling. He will also be allowed to stay in Sweden.
Sweden has accepted more refugees than most European nations and has also experienced more crime because of it.
This is just one of many stories that point out the incredible problems posed by refugees. President Barack Obama would have us all believe that they are harmless widows and children, but the facts indicate otherwise.
