Philip Kirschner, a 9/11 first responder, has struggled with his health due to his service at the World Trade Center. He says he’s alive today because of Donald Trump — and the media refuses to report it.
Kirschner recently talked with Breitbart about his experience with Trump. According to the first responder, who has struggled with heart problems and kidney cancer since his service almost 15 years ago, Trump helped arrange transportation for him when he most needed it.
Kirschner said that he was in Florida and needed to get to Ohio’s Cleveland Clinic in order to get a dual-channel automated implantable cardioverter-defibrillator, a device that can save the life of those with extreme life-threatening cardiac arrhythmias.
“I was given a dual channel AICD, which has been deployed several times and has saved my life,” Kirschner said. When the hospital he was at couldn’t transport him, “I called my roommate, who I told to call my uncle, who knew (Trump) basically at the time.”
“One of the charities, Angel Flight, did get a call to try to facilitate my move, so I know a couple of people were working to get me moved to Cleveland where I had a chance of survival,” Kirschner said. “He did a couple, quite a number, of Angel Flights with groups.”
Kirschner wants the media to report a different side of Trump.
“I want people to learn that he’s a humanitarian, that he reaches out, he donates,” Kirschner said. “He gives to medical charities. He gives to a lot of huge causes.”
Kirschner, a lifelong Democrat until 9/11, originally supported Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul for the GOP nomination. However, he’s gone over to Trump — not just because of his support for him, either. He says his wife lost her job because of an H1B visa holder who could do it for less money.
“This nation is in such dire straits right now,” Kirschner said. “I am a student of history and when you change the language and when you dumb it down and you change the moral and ethical code of a nation, things like Nazi Germany could happen. That’s my concern.
“At the same time, you have a deindustrialization of the country with a move toward a global swing rather than national and I think we need a national candidate,” he added. “I see Hillary with her causal relationships … I see her relationship with the Muslim Sisterhood as counter productive to American values.”
As for his service as a first responder on 9/11. Kirschner said, “We would do it again, but we’re not discardable.”
Donald Trump knows that. Now, it’s time for America to realize that, too.
