Who would’ve guessed Hillary Clinton lied when she said she handed over all work-related emails to the State Department?
It was revealed on Tuesday that 30 more emails that might be related to the 2012 terror attack in Benghazi have been uncovered among the trove of emails recovered during the FBI’s investigation into Clinton’s private email server, the Associated Press reported.
Government attorneys told U.S. District Court Judge Amit P. Mehta that an unknown number of the 30 were not among the documents Clinton gave to the FBI.
State Department officials said they would need until the end of September to redact any potentially classified information before releasing them to the public.
Mehta has demanded the State Department respond to him within a week and explain why it would take an entire month to release 30 emails, according to the AP.
The hearing was held as part of one of the lawsuits filed by Judicial Watch, who just submitted a list of questions related to her private email server that Clinton must answer under oath within 30 days.
