On Sunday, Bernie Sanders said he will still support Hillary Clinton despite the leaked emails that showed the Democratic Party planned to slander him and destroy his presidential campaign.
The Hill reported: “No, no, no,” Sanders said in response to a question on NBC’s “Meet the Press” about whether the emails affect his support of the presumptive Democratic nominee.
“We are going to do everything we can to protect working families in this country. What a campaign is about is not about Hillary Clinton, it’s not about Donald Trump. It’s about the people of this country.”
Emails leaked Friday by WikiLeaks reignited talks of party favoritism for Clinton just ahead of the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia next week.
