President Barack Obama does not want to know the truth about the dire threat facing America, and he doesn’t want us to hear it either. The mainstream media will likely downplay this story if they give it any airtime at all, but we all need and deserve to know about the bear at the door—and U.S. Army Chief Staff General Mark Milley understands that perfectly given his warning to America regarding Russia.
“The strategic resolve of our nation, the United States, is being challenged and our alliances tested in ways that we haven’t faced in many, many decades,” Army Chief of Staff Gen. Mark Milley said during the annual meeting of the Association of the U.S. Army in Washington, D.C. The White House has not yet commented on the general’s intense concerns about the threats posed by the Russians.
Barack Obama mocked Mitt Romney’s concerns about Russia being the biggest geopolitical foe of the United States during a presidential debate in 2012. The “1980s called and want their foreign policy back” snarky retort is coming back to haunt the president now.
“I want to be clear to those who wish to do us harm…the United States military — despite all of our challenges, despite our [operational] tempo, despite everything we have been doing — we will stop you, and we will beat you harder than you have ever been beaten before,” General Mark Milley also said during the same meeting. “Make no mistake about that.”
Russia and Vladimir Putin surely view Obama—and, by extension, America—as weak. Obama’s failures in the Middle East, particularly in Syria after drawing that red line and then doing nothing, could give no other logical impression.
Last year, Putin vowed to possess the largest, best trained, and most well-equipped military in the world by 2020. Vladimir is now way ahead of schedule on his military beef-up plan.
While Russia has been swelling its military’s ranks, Barack Obama has scaled our forces back to pre-World War II levels. As Putin has purchased more state-of-the art tanks and aircraft, the current Oval Office holder has allowed our usable and modern military apparatus to dwindle to shockingly low levels.
Obama is acting as if the Cold War is over. It is not. The first and most important duty of a United States president is to protect the nation and Americans—he has consistently shrugged off that chore.
“While we focused on the counter-terrorist fight, other countries — Russia, Iran, China, North Korea — went to school on us,” General Milley also pointed out. “They studied our doctrine, our tactics, our equipment, our organization, our training, our leadership. And, in turn, they revised their own doctrines, and they are rapidly modernizing their military today to avoid our strengths in hopes of defeating us at some point in the future.”
The Army general also accurately quoted a senior Russian official who boldly stated the “established world order” is about to change and is in the midst of a fundamental “shake-up,” Military.com reports.
General Milley warned the United States Army will have to adapt in order to survive a battlefield confrontation with Russia. He said that in future combat with a formidable enemy, like Russia, it will “be highly lethal, unlike anything our Army has experienced at least since World War II.”
During such a battle, the general said the United States Army formations will likely be small and have to move constantly. “On the future battlefield, if you stay in one place for longer than two or three hours, you will be dead.”
We need a president who exudes strength and will always put Americans first. Hillary Clinton is not such a person. Donald Trump is the leader we need!
