The polls are out and the results suggest the presidential race between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump could be closer than what some experts might think, according to the results. A plethora of negative things have happened for Trump and his staff this month, yet he is managing to remain competitive in the race despite what many experts have described as the lowest point of his campaign.
“If we’ve learned anything this cycle, it’s that this is the Donald Trump election and none of the normal rules apply,” said Patrick Murray a pollster at Monmouth University in an interview with The Hill.
“No Democrat with any common sense or real campaign experience is taking this race for grated,” said Craig Varoga a Democratic strategist. “These states are the battlegrounds for a reason — they’re always without exception, closer in polls and results than the other 35 to 40 states.”
