We’ve been told by the media, the candidates and the president that any level of apprehension over migrants from the Middle East is mere bigotry.
However, we do know that Orlando shooter Omar Mateen was born of Afghani immigrant parents. Those parents, according to CNN, registered the fact that he was disgusted over the sight of men kissing — apparently so much so that he was willing to kill.
But don’t take my word for it. Take the word of 30,000 Afghan migrants who were resettled in the United States of America between the years of 2001 and 2013.
You would think, given the fact that they were given visas by the United States of America, and allowed to escape the horror happening in their home country, that they would be in favor of secular law in the United States.
Yet, as a Pew Research poll shows, 99 percent of Muslims from Afghanistan favor making Shariah the law of their own country.
Think this has only a minor impact on your community? Think again. The number of green cards issued to Afghan immigrants increased over 379 percent in 2014.
And that’s just the beginning. If elected president, Hillary Clinton has plans to do a lot more when it comes to importing refugees into America.
While Hillary Clinton hasn’t made it known what the minimum number in terms of refugees would be under a Clinton presidency, the estimate seems to hover around 730,000 migrants from the Islamic world in a first Hillary Clinton term.
At his speech at the Faith and Freedom Coalition summit on Friday, Trump said, “Hillary will bring hundreds of thousands of refugees, many of whom have hostile beliefs about people of different faiths and values, and some of whom absolutely and openly support terrorism in our country. We don’t need that. We have enough problems.”
Will 99 percent of those migrants support Shariah Law? Or will it only be in the low 80s?
The rule of law is the glue that holds society together. It does not have exceptions for those who feel that they should be exempt from it because of their faith or their violent designs on the West. And the American way of life should be protected at whatever cost — as Donald Trump has said.
