ALERT: Wal-Mart Employee Just Snuck Behind Firefighter In Crowded Store, Does The UNTHINKABLE

A Wal-Mart employee attacked two people during peak shopping hours at the super-store in Princeton, Texas Wednesday.

According to CBS, 20-year-old Nicolas Martinez snuck up behind off-duty firefighter George Cook and slit his throat before stabbing his other victim, an independent contractor who worked with the store.

“When we pulled up on scene the officers ordered him down, while officers did have gunpoint on him not knowing whether he had a gun or knife,” Princeton Police Chief James Waters told CBS.

Erica Jones, Senior Manager of Corporate Communications for Wal-Mart, also released a statement on the incident.

“Today’s events are deeply troubling. Our thoughts are with everyone who was a part of this terrible situation,” she wrote. “We are thankful to the first responders for their quick action, and we are continuing to work closely with the police. The associate who did this was arrested and his employment at our store was immediately terminated.”

Both of Martinez’s victims were air-lifted to a local hospital.

Cook is in stable condition, but the second victim’s condition remains unknown.
