WikiLeaks has been dropping leaked emails from the Democrat Party (DNC) all weekend. Now, after Julian Assange’s group released a shocking email about the Clinton Foundation, something very bizarre, and possibly illegal, happened in an effort to shut WikiLeaks down.
“Our email publication servers are under a targeted DoS attack since releasing #DNCLeak2,” WikiLeaks tweeted Monday. The cyber attack on the whistle blower website reportedly remains ongoing.

Twitter also went down briefly today around 1:30 a.m. eastern time. The social media website is the prime venue for posting and sharing WikiLeaks releases.
WikiLeaks posted a message to its Facebook alerting followers to the ongoing denial-of-service (DoS) attack after the Twitter outage.
Social media users are doubting the DoS attack on Twitter and WikiLeaks is a mere coincidence. DoS attacks are an attempt to shut down a site by overwhelming it with traffic, essentially, and they require concerted effort.
“We are still under a DoS attack on our email publication servers, and it appears that Twitter is down as well. We are unable to confirm if this is an attack on Twitter at this time,” read the WikiLeaks Facebook post.
By Sunday evening, Julian Assange’s WikiLeaks accomplished its goal of publishing the 50,000 leaked emails from John Podesta. He is Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman.
The DoS attack comes just hours after WikiLeaks shared a DNC leaked email that appeared to indicate the political party colluded with CNN. Democrat staffers discussed creating questions to give to Wolf Blitzer so the news anchor could ask them of both Donald Trump and Ted Cruz during upcoming interviews.
One of the most damning emails shared via WikiLeaks before the DoS attack began claimed Hillary Clinton “disregarded ethics guidelines” in 2010 when she raised more than $72 million for the United States Pavilion at the World’s Fair in Shanghai.
The email also reportedly said Hillary took donations from contributors who in turn received “favorable treatment” from the State Department. These same donors also reportedly gave money to the Clinton Foundation.
Another eyebrow-raising WikiLeaks email shared in the past 24 hours relates to Chelsea Clinton. The email appears to claim Hillary’s daughter used Clinton Foundation funds to help pay for her $3 million wedding.
It also appears to claim her husband leveraged his connection to the charity to garner investments in his struggling hedge fund. The donors were allegedly led to assume investing with Chelsea’s husband would be looked upon quite favorably by Hillary and Bill Clinton.
