Judicial Watch is the group that has filed a civil lawsuit to get to the bottom of Hillary Clinton’s email mess, even if the FBI can’t be bothered.
Now the group’s founder has launched another legal action, and it’s even more audacious.
The suit’s biggest target? President Obama himself.
According to reporter Randy DeSoto:
Larry Klayman, the head of Freedom Watch and founder of Judicial Watch, filed a class action lawsuit on Monday in federal district court in Dallas against President Obama and others for inciting violence, leading to the killings of law enforcement officers.
In his complaint, Klayman named not only Barack Obama but Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan, former Attorney General Eric Holder and the Rev. Al Sharpton, among a total of nine defendants.
Regarding Obama, Klayman points to several actions and statements including his comments from Warsaw, Poland, early last Thursday morning following the deaths of Alton Sterling in Baton Rouge, La., and Philando Castile near St. Paul, Minn., during arrests.
Klayman, a former federal prosecutor, claims that Obama made statements that “directly incited” the murders of five Dallas police officers that very day. However, he adds that the seeds for this incitement can be traced to the early days of Obama’s administration, when he sided with Harvard professor Henry Louis Gates, Jr. over local police.
Klayman calls upon “other law enforcement to join” the lawsuit. While it’s unlikely that this case will go very far, at least it is an attempt to hold the most powerful man in the country responsible for his statements.
