Black Police Chief Just Dropped BOMBSHELL on Keith Scott Shooting

When there is an incident where police officers are forced to use their weapons, it is always best to wait before overreacting. Of course, you couldn’t possibly tell that to liberals. The Charlotte, NC police chief, who happens to be African-American, proved yet again just how important that principle is.

The police chief reported that his officers warned Keith Scott several times to drop his gun, and they had no choice but to respond with force after Scott ignored a number of commands to do so.

Officers first arrived at the scene to see Keith Lamont Scott inside a car at an apartment complex. He proceeded to exit the car and was clearly armed with a handgun. After getting back into the car, officers went up to the car and engaged him.

“The officers gave loud, clear verbal commands, which were also heard by many of the witnesses,” said Charlotte-Mecklenburg County Police Chief Kerr Putney. “They were instructing the subject, once he got out of the vehicle, to drop the weapon.”

Scott ignored them again and exited his vehicle with his handgun, and officers continue to tell him to drop his weapon.

“He stepped out, posing a threat to the officers, and Officer Brently Vinson subsequently fired his weapon, striking the subject,” Putney said.

That isn’t the end of the story, however.

An interesting little bombshell to consider is that Brently Vinson, like Keith Scott, is a black man. So, there you have it. All three of the individuals closely involved in this case are African-American—the subject, the patrol officer, and the police chief defending his patrol officer.

There has been rioting ever since the shooting occurred anyway.

This event is an illustration of the small-minded mentality of the agitated rioters in Charlotte. Now that the facts have come out, they once again should realize they were wrong to even consider rioting before they knew the truth with certainty.
