Perhaps the bravest people within this climate of political correctness are those critical thinking individuals, who also just happen to be black, and have the audacity to question both “white privilege” and progressive dogma in public.
If you also happen to be a proud conservative like Condoleeza Rice, Ben Carson and Justice Clarence Thomas, then there’s little doubt you’ll also be tagged as an “uncle Tom.”
So when Wendy Williams decided to apply a little of that critical thinking to Jesse Williams self-serving acceptance speech for his humanitarian award at the BET awards, well one can just imagine the fallout she created.
“You know, on the other hand, I would be really offended if there was a school known as a historically white college. We have historically black colleges. What if there was the National Organization for White People Only? There’s the NAACP. Racism sucks and we can all do better in our own households, educating our children to make to make it better.”
However Wendy wasn’t finished in laying the truth bomb on the politically correct crowd and zeroed in on the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, better known as NAACP, and asking them outright “What is this colored? We’re supposed to be colored?”
In short Williams pointed out to those in attendance, that reverse discrimination, is in fact still “discrimination” no matter how you dress it up…good for you Wendy!
Do you agree with what Wendy Williams has to say about black-only groups being racist?
