The fallout from James Comey’s stinging criticism of Hillary Clinton’s lawless behavior continues. He may not have indicted her, but a large majority of Americans believe she behaved wrongly and a significant majority believe she should have been indicted.
Now it appears that the American people are rendering their verdict at the polls. Clinton continues to sink like a stone and Donald Trump is the biggest winner.
Now a new round of swing state polls have Democrats in a panic as Donald Trump takes the lad in the most important states in the upcoming election.
Politico has more…
New swing-state polls released Wednesday by Quinnipiac University show Trump leading Clinton in Florida and Pennsylvania — and tied in the critical battleground state of Ohio.
The specifics are great for Trump…
Trump leads by three points in Florida — the closest state in the 2012 election — 42 percent to 39 percent. In Ohio, the race is tied, 41 percent to 41 percent. And in Pennsylvania — which hasn’t voted for a Republican presidential nominee since 1988 — Trump leads, 43 percent to 41 percent.
In addition to these swing states, a new poll yesterday in Iowa shows that Trump has taken a two point lead in a state where Obama beat Mitt Romney by 6 in 2012.
