BREAKING: Congress Must SHUT DOWN Government In Next 3 Days! Or Else Obama Will…

The clock is ticking and time is running out, and unless politicos on Capitol Hill take some dramatic steps, Americans could lose a key freedom.

What’s going on?

President Obama gave the go-ahead for a foreign nation to take over the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers, or ICANN.

And, as Breitbart noted, it’s a move that could be “ending online freedom of expression and enterprise as we know it.”

But Congress could take action and reverse course.

Of course, the left-leaning media isn’t helping, and is instead, falling lockstep behind Obama, trying to convince readership the president’s transfer of ICAAN is simply good business. The New York Times, for instance, argued the United States always intended to transfer ICAAN’s control, and that the new overseers, a group of countries rather than a single one, is a better model going forward.

But Breitbart disagreed.

“All of these arguments fall apart rather easily,” the news outlet wrote. “The U.S. may have intended to give up ICANN when it was created, but it has become a strategic asset and the U.S. will not break any legal or binding commitment by holding onto it. ICANN does not work well enough to be trusted.”

The Washington Free Beacon, for example, previously reported on congressional testimony that showed ICANN has “provided official accreditation to people who have transferred technology to Iran, worked with North Korea and ordered ‘murders-for’-hire.’”

On top of that, who says a multi-stakeholder arrangement is best? That’s what Obama pressed as a positive when he brought forth his Iran deal.

“Congress has only three days to stop Obama’s surrender ICANN,” Breitbart reported. “If ever there were a cause worth shutting down the government to achieve, this is it.”
