Between WikiLeaks exposing the depth of collusion between the media and the Clinton campaign, and James O’Keefe’s bombshell expose of dirty tricks and voter fraud by Democrats, evidence continues to mount that the system is, as Donald Trump suggests, “rigged.” Even in the face of a wealth of evidence, however, the notion of a rigged system has been derided by the left over the past several days–most notably by President Barack Obama.
“I have never seen in my lifetime or in modern political history any presidential candidate trying to discredit the elections and the election process before votes have even taken place,” Obama said in a press conference on Tuesday. “It’s unprecedented. It happens to be based on no facts.”
Despite the president’s dismissive comments, the “rigged” nature of American institutions has actually been a common Democratic theme in recent years.
The Washington Free Beacon has compiled an impressive collection of sound bites in which Democrats from President Barack Obama to Senator Elizabeth Warren announce that the system is “rigged.”
“The game is rigged,” Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D., Mass.) said.
“They’ll do anything to rig the system,” Obama echoed.
“People say the game is rigged,” Democrat presidential nominee Hillary Clinton declared on the campaign trail.
“A rigged economy,” Sen. Bernie Sanders (I., Vt.) repeated throughout the Democratic primary and continues to do so.
