Presumed Democrat presidential nominee Hillary Clinton really isn’t having a good month. Over the past few days, even the liberal media has been talking about her email scandal, despite the fact that they’d really rather cover something else.
To make matters worse, Ron Johnson, the chair of the Senate’s Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, has come forward claiming that it was possible Clinton’s private server was used by Vladimir Putin to expand his influence in Europe.
Specifically, Johnson said that Putin could have used information on her server to inform his decision to launch an invasion of Ukraine, knowing that the United States would not respond in any significant way, Newsmax reported.
“How reckless and dangerous her email server was,” Johnson stated. “You have to assume that our enemy and adversaries had to have had access to every email.”
“Did it affect their actions — as it’s related to, for example, Vladimir Putin’s invasion of eastern Ukraine? What about the negotiations with Iran. Assad?” he asked.
There proof to back up these claims — at least none that has been released to the public — but it certainly is something to think about.
Russia took alarming steps toward becoming a serious threat during Clinton’s tenure as secretary of state, so it isn’t that hard to believe its leaders were reading her every email and adapting their strategy accordingly.
If this did indeed happen, then Clinton’s security lapses could be blamed for the war in Ukraine. Is this the type of person we want sitting in the Oval Office?
Even if Clinton wasn’t deliberately trying to sabotage the United States’ foreign policy, her actions as secretary of state show how completely incompetent she is. She cannot be allowed to control our nation’s entire military.
