The President-Elect is rewarding Conway’s historic performance during the campaign with a top post in his administration.
Conway has been appointed a Counselor to the President. Kellyanne will work with other senior administration officials to both communicate and execute Trump’s legislative agenda, Fox News reports. Conway said she will be working both in and outside of the White House to help the 45th President of the United States accomplish his goal to make America great again.
“Kellyanne Conway has been a trusted advisor and strategist who played a crucial role in my victory,” President-Elect Trump said in a statement released earlier toady. “She is a tireless and tenacious advocate of my agenda and has amazing insights on how to effectively communicate our message.”
Conway is the first woman to serve as a campaign chair on a presidential campaign and win. If Kellyanne was a Democrat, Liberals would be cheering that she deftly she broke a glass ceiling against seemingly insurmountable odds.
But, Conway is a Republican, so women’s rights and feminist groups are not lining up to hoist accolades upon her. Instead, many have lambasted Kellyanne for taking into consideration how much time a White House post would take away from raising her four children.
“My family is going to move to Washington, D.C., and I will either stay outside and run the political super-structure, or I will go into the West Wing and take a position right next to the president,” Conway said. Her position in the White House does not require Senate approval.
Almost immediately Liberal pundits twisted Conway’s words and alleged she was insulting all working mothers everywhere. Conway merely shrugged off the angry and misguided insults from the left, remaining true to her unflappable nature.
“I am pleased that she will be part of my senior team in the West Wing,” Trump also said. Conway called her appointment “very humbling.”
The woman has been referred to by the mainstream media as the “Trump whisperer.” told Fox News the position as a counselor to the president was “difficult to pass up.” Kellyanne added that she knows she has both the President-Elect’s “ear and his trust.”
“A Trump presidency will bring real change to Washington and to Americans across this great nation. I am humbled and honored to play a role in helping transform the movement he has led into a real agenda of action and results,” Conway said after news of her White House appointment went viral.
Conway is the founder and owner of The Polling Company, a polling and research firm. The 49-year-old attorney earned her legal degree from George Washington University Law School.
