Breaking! Look Who Just Took Over Trump’s Transition Team From Chris Christie

President- elect Trump is placing VP-elect Pence in charge of the transition team.  Up to now, the role has been handled by Gov. Chris Christie.

President-elect Trump told advisers he wanted to tap Mr. Pence’s Washington experience and contacts to help move the process along, according to people familiar with the discussions. An executive committee, which will include members of Congress, will advise Mr. Pence as the process moves forward.

According to the New York Times, Gov. Christie, along with Rudolph W. Giuliani, the former mayor of New York, and Michael T. Flynn, a retired lieutenant general who has been a top campaign supporter, will serve as vice chairs of the transition, the sources said.

Speculation is the real reason why Gov. Christie was removed is because of his connection to “Bridgegate.”  Although the NJ governor was found innocent of any wrongdoing, his top staffers were found guilty of closing down the busiest bridge in the United States as retaliation to a NJ mayor who did not support Christie. One source who asked not to be named said, “His ability to help pick staff positions will always be in doubt because the staff members he picked for his office in NJ turned out to be dishonest.”
