Attorney General Loretta Lynch announced on Friday that she “fully” expects to accept whatever recommendations are made by career prosecutors investigating Hillary Clinton.
“The recommendations will be reviewed by career supervisors in the Department of Justice and in the FBI, and by the FBI director, and then as is the common process, they present it to me and I fully expect to accept their recommendations,” Lynch said Friday during a panel discussion in Aspen, Colorado.
However, this wording would seem to give her some wiggle room if the prosecutors’ recommendations do not meet her expectations.
