For the first time in several weeks, Donald Trump holds a lead over Hillary Clinton in a national poll.
The latest Rasmussen poll released Thursday finds the presumptive GOP nominee with a four-point lead over Clinton: 43 percent to 39 percent. The same polling organization showed the former secretary of state held the same margin over Trump last week.
After surging ahead of Clinton in multiple national polls in May, Trump fell behind following missteps by the candidate, including questioning the impartiality of a judge in his Trump University case simply because of his Mexican heritage.
