BREAKING: NYC Mayor Makes Disgusting Move to Boot Donald From Trump Tower

New York City’s crypto-socialist mayor, Bill de Blasio, is the latest Democrat trying to play dirty tricks with Donald Trump’s campaign. He’s now trying to boot campaign events out of the presumptive GOP presidential nominee’s iconic Trump Tower under a rather flimsy pretext.

According to CNN, officials in New York City are looking into whether Donald Trump is violating zoning laws that were part of a deal he reached with the city to expand the tower back in 1979.

“Department of Building’s enforcement unit is investigating whether the atrium was improperly closed to the public,” Department spokesman Joe Soldevere said.

The enforcement has to do with a special deal he reached with the city regarding the extended zoning of Trump Tower back in 1979. In return for the extended zoning, New York City demanded that the building’s atrium “be accessible and kept open to the public from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily.”

While Trump Tower officials were allowed to apply for four exemptions per year, Soldevere said they had “received no such requests.”

Trump Tower’s atrium has been the cite of many of Trump’s campaign events, including his iconic candidacy declaration last summer. Reuters had originally reported that the Department of Building was looking into it after Tuesday’s press conference in which Trump went after the media.

New York Mayor Bill de Blasio has worked with Hillary since her first Senate campaign back in 2000. However, he didn’t endorse her until late in the game, presumably because the crypto-socialist mayor was sympathetic to Comrade Sanders.

Now that Mayor de Blasio is in the tank for Hillary, though, he certainly seems more than willing to use the pettiest of reasons to try to shut Trump’s campaign down.

Thankfully, this won’t matter for The Donald. It’s been proven that, no matter where he goes, Trump can draw huge crowds anywhere he goes. However, it’s time for the Democrats to start playing fair and stop being petty.
