If you didn’t have a good reason to hate House Speaker Paul Ryan already — with his refusal to endorse Donald Trump and his meddling in the nomination process — boy, are we going to give you a reason to.
According to Associated Press (via PBS), Speaker Ryan said he will refuse to back a bill to allow 9/11 families to sue Saudi Arabia over the Islamic kingdom’s alleged funding of the terrorists who carried out the attacks.
On Tuesday, Ryan said that he wanted Republicans to review the bill “to make sure that we’re not making mistakes with our allies.”
“The White House is opposed to it. It’s received some opposition here. We’re going to let these things work the process,” Ryan said. “Work the process,” as you may have gathered, is RINO-speak for, “We don’t really want to do this, but if we say we don’t the voters will have our hides.”
Ryan also pointed out that Obama had promised to veto the bill, even though the bill had bipartisan support. He said that after the veto, “we’ll see where it goes from there.”
Paul Ryan has been one of the biggest traitors on the Republican side, but up until now his traitorous behavior hasn’t been sinister. However, what he’s doing now is covering up for the government of Saudi Arabia at the behest of the Obama administration, plain and simple.
Who suffers the most from this? The families of 9/11 victims, who want the Shariah kingdom to be held to account for what it did on Sept. 11, 2001. The Obama administration refuses to let that happen, and they apparently have accomplices in the Republican Party.
It’s time that the voters had their voices heard. Paul Ryan clearly isn’t going to do it. We need a speaker who will, and we demand one now.
