GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump had a few choice words that ended up sounding like threat for President Barack Obama, who appeared to be back in campaign mode Wednesday.
“He’s going to start campaigning. Well, if he campaigns, that means I’m allowed to hit him just like I hit Bill Clinton, I guess, right?” Trump said.
“If he doesn’t, I don’t care. But if he campaigns, and I think he wants to, because he wants to keep this terrible agenda going where everybody is ripping us, where the world is ripping us off,” he added.
“He shouldn’t campaign. He should go out and do the job he’s supposed to be doing, not campaigning,” he concluded, according to the U.K. Daily Mail. Watch Trump’s remarks below:
There’s little doubt Trump will follow through on his word. He threatened to go after Bill Clinton’s past should he decide to campaign for his wife, Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, and he made good on that promise with ads that brought up the lies that the Clintons have told for years.
Last month, he brought up a litany of accusations against Clinton that included rape. These allegations have haunted Clinton’s campaign as she struggled to make women believe that she was a champion for them — unless, of course, they had affairs with her husband.
Obama spoke at a school in Elkhart, Indiana, and avoided using Trump’s name but referenced him just the same by referring to his claims of bringing jobs back to America and claiming that the businessman had no answers on exactly how to do that.
However, if Obama’s campaigning ends up looking anything like the video below, he probably should just stay home because he isn’t doing himself or any Democrat any favors:
But then again, it would be fun to watch him try.
