If anything proves that the mainstream media is the lapdog of America’s leftists, this is it.
A top reporter for Politico (considered the country’s top news source on Washington) made an agreement with the Democratic National Committee to let them review a story about Hillary Clinton before it was published.
In journalism, you don’t do this. Ever. It’s called “prior restraint,” and you never let a source read your article before it goes to publication. That puts you in the position of having to defend (or change) factual information in a story, turning it into “fluff” rather than “news.”
But that’s precisely what Kenneth Vogel did.
Among the tens of thousands of leaked emails from the Democratic National Committee by WikiLeaks, many of them illustrate the incestuous relationship the national media has with the Democratic Party.
The email – dated April 2016 – had the subject line “per agreement … any thoughts appreciated.”
“Vogel gave me his story ahead of time/before it goes to his editors as long as I didn’t share it,” Paustenbach wrote in an email to Luis Miranda, the DNC’s communications director. (Of course, he shared it. Because he’s a dirtbag.) “Let me know if you see anything that’s missing and I’ll push back,” he added.
The final copy of the article ran, and the DNC pretended they were unhappy with it – but that’s after they got a chance to scrub information from it.
Nobody’s commenting on this – not Politico, not Vogel, but a “person with knowledge of the agreement,” said that it was done to “ensure accuracy in a complex story.”
That’s absolute nonsense, and they know it. You can read back quotes, you can discuss the “angle” you’re taking in a story, but you do not submit a story with the subject like “Any thoughts?” unless you’re 100 percent in bed with them. Period.
Other leaked emails showing how close the media is to Democrats were no better:
In one, Chuck Todd gets an email from DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz.
The subject line reads “Chuck, this must stop.” It was about some critical things folks at MSNBC were saying. Todd defended himself, saying there’s no evidence that he did anything untoward at MSNBC. But Todd did agree to take a phone call from her.
@rooshv lots of misleading stuff on Twitter but this takes the cake. Total distortion. I receive coverage complaints daily from all over

Other emails show some disgusting tactics that the DNC was using against Trump
One e-mail shows DNC staffers creating a fake Craigslist job posting made for women who want to apply with the Trump organization. The fake position is titled “Honey Bunny,” and it requires the prospective candidate to – among other things, stay hot, refrain from getting fat, be open to public humiliation and be okay with groping or kissing by her boss.
Here’s the text of the ad:
Multiple Positions (NYC area)
Seeking staff members for multiple positions in a large, New York-based corporation known for its real estate investments, fake universities, steaks, and wine. The boss has very strict standards for female employees, ranging from the women who take lunch orders (must be hot) to the women who oversee multi-million dollar construction projects (must maintain hotness demonstrated at time of hiring).
Title: Honey Bunch (that’s what the boss will call you)
* No gaining weight on the job (we’ll take some “before” pictures when you start to use later as evidence)
* Must be open to public humiliation and open-press workouts if you do gain weight on the job
* A willingness to evaluate other women’s hotness for the boss’ satisfaction is a plus
* Should be proficient in lying about age if the boss thinks you’re too old Working mothers not preferred (the boss finds pumping breast milk disgusting, and worries they’re too focused on their children).
We’re proud to maintain a “fun” and “friendly work environment, where the boss is always available to meet with his employees. Like it or not, he may greet you with a kiss on the lips or grope you under the meeting table.
