The Breakfast Club’s radio host and personality, Charlamagne Tha God, recently interviewed boxing champion Adrien Broner, and what Broner had to say about Donald Trump had everyone talking.
Broner stated that he supported the Republican front-runner because “Everything he’s saying is correct.”
“He gon’ lower them taxes,” the 26-year-old four-weight world champion stated during the interview on Wednesday. “And that’s what I’m with, for real, because taxes been kicking my a**.”
A hard feat to do. With a record of 32 wins and only two losses, kicking Broner’s behind is not something he takes lightly. The young millionaire understands that taxes are unfair, and he expects Donald Trump to remedy that should he get elected.
Charlamagne Tha God asked Broner if Trump’s inexperience in policy making and his exciting rhetoric concerned him.
“Man, I don’t care. Let that rich ni**a be president,” Broner responded. “At the end of the day, the rich are going to get richer and the poor are going to stay poor.”
Watch the interview below:
Whether or not Broner’s endorsement of Donald Trump will mean much come November is up for debate, of course.
Moreover, according to Breitbart, Broner was facing felony charges for assault and aggravated robbery in Connecticut, so it’s possible the champion may not even be able to vote come November.
Unless he moves to Virginia, that is. Apparently they’re a lot more lenient on such issues there.
