Extreme conflicts of interest do exist for the judge presiding over pending litigation in California.
Hillary Clinton and the liberal media are suggesting Trump is a racist, and some Republicans are slamming the nominee and recoiling in horror, but Donald Trump’s suggestion that Judge Gonzalo Curiel should be removed from the Trump University case because of his Mexican heritage is 100% legitimate, says Dennis Michael Lynch. “He has every right to be alarmed, and I stand behind him 110%.”
What you need to know about the judge:
1) THE SAN DIEGO LA RAZA LAWYERS ASSOCIATION
Curiel belongs to the San Diego La Raza Lawyers Association (SDLR). It is without question a Latino activist group that supports pro-amnesty and open borders organizations. The SDLR website states its purpose is “to promote the interests of the Latino communities throughout the state.” The website also includes links to numerous pro-amnesty organizations, including Border Angels, SD Dream Team, Reality Changers, and the National Council of La Raza which has openly sought to establish California as Mexican territory, and does not believe in deportation for Latinos or Muslims.
2) APPOINTED BY PRESIDENT OBAMA
Judge Curiel was personally nominated to the bench by President Obama in November 2011.
3) HE IS A DEMOCRATIC CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTOR
Curiel has given financial donations to Democrats.
4) BIAS IN TRUMP UNIVERSITY CASE
Both firms that Curiel selected to present the case against Trump University are supporters of Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama.
5) AN AFFILIATE OF THE SAN DIEGO LA RAZA LAWYERS ASSOCIATION is the HISPANIC NATIONAL BAR ASSOCIATION
After Donald Trump launched his campaign in the summer of 2015, the Hispanic National Bar Association put out a press release, CALLING FOR A BOYCOTT of all Trump’s businesses:
Washington, DC – The Hispanic National Bar Association represents the interests of nearly 54 million Hispanics/Latinos in the United States, which is approximately 17% of the U.S. population. By his recent derogatory remarks about Mexican immigrants, Donald Trump’s disrespect of such a large segment of the population of America is not only unbelievable, but outright wrong. His comment that Mexico only sends rapists and criminals to the United States reveals a racist nature that cannot and will not go unnoticed by the Hispanic National Bar Association nor the Latino community.
Those who seek our highest public office should attempt to engage all Americans, not divide us. His comments are clearly divisive and racist and do nothing to promote equality and justice for all. Trump’s statements reveal a bias that all Americans should reject and respond to accordingly. We cannot stand silent and allow Trump to promote such racist and discriminatory behavior. This is the time for all Americans to take a stand against his insensitive, offensive and untrue statements.
The HNBA calls for a boycott of all of Trump business ventures, including golf courses, hotels, and restaurants. We salute NBC/Universal, Univision and Macy’s for ending their association with Trump, and we join them in standing up against bigotry and racist rhetoric. Other businesses and corporations should follow the lead of NBC/Universal, Univision and Macy’s and take similar actions against Donald Trump’s business interests. We can and will make a difference.
