It didn’t take GOP frontrunner Donald Trump to respond to the announcement that former HP CEO Carly Fiorina would be joining Ted Cruz as the Texas Senator’s running mate. The billionaire took to Twitter and posted a video of Carly saying some not-so-flattering words about her new running mate.
Here’s what Trump had to say:

On Thursday morning Trump also added:
Lyin’ Ted Cruz, who can never beat Hillary Clinton and has NO path to victory, has chosen a V.P.candidate who failed badly in her own effort

At a campaign event in Indiana on Wednesday, Cruz announced that Fiorina would be joining him on a unified ticket.
“After a great deal of consideration and prayer, I have come to the conclusion that if I am nominated to be president of the United States that I will run on a ticket with my vice presidential nominee Carly Fiorina,” Cruz told a gathering of supporters in Indiana.
During her remarks Fiorina promised supporters to fight for both the future of the GOP and the country as a whole.
“Ted could not be more right in what he said: There is a lot at stake, and in fact, this is a fight, this is a fight for the soul of our party and the future of our nation,” Fiorina said. “I’ve had tough fights all my life. Tough fights don’t worry me a bit.”
