During a livestream of a Black Lives Matter protest that had shut down I-70 in Missouri, one driver had had enough. She revved her engine and drive right on through the line of protestors. And the cops are holding the protestors responsible for the damages.

If you watch the whole epic live stream, you can see the driver motioning to a cop, who comes over and talks with her for a moment. When the the police officer begins to walk away, the SUV rolls straight into the protesters. The officer even looks back to watch the truck driving into the line of people.
More protesters, angered that their shut down hadn’t shut things down, jumped in the path of the SUV, but the woman keeps on rolling, pushing them to the side. She even drags a “Ferguson is everywhere” sign for a bit. A few protesters banged on the vehicle in an attempt to get the woman to stop, but she didn’t.
Unlike the truck attack in France, no one here was seriously injured.
What’s odd about this case is that the woman driving the SUV hasn’t been charged with anything in the wake of the incident. The protestors are not happy about this one bit.
Not only has the woman not been charged with assault, two protesters–Alexis Templeton and Brittany Ferrell–have been charged.
People are all upset that they poor little protesters have been charged, but look at the dent in the door. You can see it from up in the helicopter.
Templeton is charged with one count of assault and one count of resisting arrest. Ferrell has been charged with one count of “criminal damage to property.” To add to the irony, Bail has denied for both of them.
An officer who was on the scene justifies the damage charges, saying that the SUV was “sucker punched” and sustained $5,000 worth of damage.
This is a shortened version of the event, and all that’s really needed. If you want to bask in the glory of the whole protest, you can watch the epic below.
There is a really good take-down just under the 21 minute mark. You can thank me later for watching the whole thing. Skip ahead to 20:45 and then let it roll for 30 seconds or so.
