Economist Larry Kudlow: Trump’s tax plan would ‘stimulate’ the economy

Economist and television pundit Larry Kudlow praised Donald Trump’s tax plan, saying it would boost the economy.

“He’s the only guy out there with a comprehensive business tax cut, and I think that’s the single most important potential growth stimulate,” Kudlow said on the John Catsimatidis radio show Sunday.

“It’s businesses who are hurting, as I’ve said before,” he said. “Business investment actually peaked about the year 2000, and so did wages, and I don’t think that’s a coincidence.”

Trump, the presumptive GOP presidential nominee, has proposed a tax plan that would offer a 15 percent tax cut for certain businesses.

“I think you’re going to see Trump end so many, if not most, of the deductions and loopholes and credits — what I call ‘K street cronyism.’ Everyone wants their own special interests,” Kudlow said.
