The mall terrorist was a supporter of Hillary Clinton, which is definitely an unwanted endorsement for her. Now, the Obama administration has been caught with its hand in the cookie jar yet again.
Michael McCaul is a Republican Congressman who chairs the Homeland Security Department, and as a representative of the Obama administration, he has admitted something pretty telling regarding the recent attacks in our country: “Well, I think there was a good chance it could be [Islamic terrorism],” per Breitbart.com.
This representative of the Obama administration appeared on Sunday Morning Futures to discuss another week of horrendous violence in our country including the shootings in Washington and the bombings in New York and New Jersey.
On Saturday, police arrested 20-year-old Arcan Cetin, a Muslim immigrant, for the shootings of four women and one man in the Washington mall. Surveillance was pivotal in the potential apprehension of the alleged culprit.
Although Cetin was unarmed at the time of his arrest, he allegedly stole three guns from his father in preparation for the attack.
While these attacks seem to be mounting in numbers, this particular incident definitely illustrates a first: even though McCaul is a Republican, the fact that he is in a bipartisan position, such as Homeland Security, makes him a mouthpiece of sorts for the Obama administration.
The Obama administration is, unfortunately, a bit late to the game, but it is finally seeing the writing on the wall in the form of Michael McCaul: terrorism is becoming a serious problem in this country.
Does the Obama administration have the guts to say it directly straight from the mouths of Obama or Biden? No, of course not.
Instead, it will use people with a “R” beside their name as fall guys to admit what we have know all along: these are not just incidents of public violence but acts of terrorism!
Perhaps it is time for an administration that takes the problem seriously and is forthcoming with the American people about the nature of these attacks. Just sayin’.
