Van Hipp, Jr., Fmr. Deputy Assistant Secretary, U.S. Army, has led town hall meetings with Donald Trump during the 2016 primary season. On Monday, Dennis Michael Lynch, host of UNFILTERED, stated that the media paints Trump as erratic. DML asked Mr. Hipp if Donald Trump has the temperament to be the Commander in Chief?
Mr Hipp confirmed Trump’s temperament as being stable. He also said that the impression he has of Trump is that he is the sort of person who will surround himself with the best minds in the different fields and that he’ll listen to them. Hipp believes Trump is focused on keeping Americans safe and that’s why he’s resonated with the American people. He said, “If Bush and Obama had secured the borders and focused on keeping Americans safe, Trump would not be the GOP nominee today.”
