The NRA pulled out all the stops in its latest ad that takes aim at Hillary Clinton’s gun control position.
The National Rifle Association spent $5 million to produce and distribute the ad which will run nationally, the Hill reported.
A woman, seemingly alone in bed, is awakened by the sound of an intruder. She grabs the phone, but also goes for her gun which disappears from the screen as the narrator talks about Clinton’s stance on firearms.
“She keeps a firearm in the safe for protection,” the narrator says. “But Hillary Clinton could take away her right to self-defense. And with Supreme Court justices, Hillary can.
“Don’t let Hillary leave you protected with nothing but a phone.”
While the ad should be celebrated as a self-empowering triumph for women, it will no doubt draw the ire of many liberals, some of whom, would opt to become the victim.
