Donald Trump expanded his delegate lead by sweeping Tuesday’s five northeastern primaries. Trump’s wide margin of victory guaranteed him all or large majorities of the delegates in each state, although Pennsylvania’s delegate breakdown has still yet-to-be determined.
As of writing, Texas Senator Ted Cruz has only earned three delegates from last night’s contests, while Ohio Governor John Kasich has earned five.
The next primary is on May third in the state of Indiana. Fifty seven delegates will be at stake in the Hoosier State. According to the Real Clear Politics polling average, Donald Trump has currently enjoys a six-point lead over his closest rival Ted Cruz in Indiana.
