There’s something fishy about James Comey that I cannot quite put my finger on. On one hand, he’s said that Hillary Clinton has done something completely reckless and out of the ordinary for someone of her stature.
Yet on the other, he let her off the hook without even a hand slap.
So why? That’s the question of the hour. We’re not entirely sure, but maybe a look into Comey’s past will help to clear up a bit of why he might be favoring Hillary in this case. It gets really clear after that point.
1. He Is a Registered Republican With an Estimated Net Worth More Than $11 Million
Comey is a registered Republican who donated to U.S. Senator John McCain’s campaign in the 2008 presidential election and to Governor Mitt Romney’s campaign in the 2012 presidential election.
Comey reported a net worth of more than $11 million in documents filed with the Senate when he was nominated for FBI Director in 2013. He listed about $5 million in stocks, according the CNN. Their investments include a Schwab government money fund, Exxon Mobil, Pepsico, Berkshire Hathaway, Verizon Communications, Proctor & Gamble Co. and Hormel Foods.
At the time, Comey and his wife, Patrice also reported ownership of a home worth an estimated $3 million in Westport, Connecticut.
Now, although he was a registered Republican for most of his life, throughout the hearing, Comey denied that being the case any longer. Yeah – I wonder why.
Also, the salary of an FBI Director is around $200,000 per year, which is a position he has held for only three years with Democrats. Now he’s rich. Explain that.
2. He Was Appointed as Director of FBI by President Obama
In June of 2013, President Barack Obama went beyond the political norm to select a former Bush appointed Republican as Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Comey has been consistent in his financial support of Republicans John McCain and Mitt Romney in their bids for President.
Comey’s appointment came just a few months after the Benghazi attacks.
“I think folks don’t understand that the FBI operates under a wide variety of constraints,” Comey testified during his confirmation hearing to succeed Robert Mueller as the second director of the bureau since 9/11.
“I can only say with confidence that it’s very important for the next director to continue the transformation of the FBI into an intelligence agency,” Comey said.
Comey was confirmed by the Senate on July 29, 2013, for a full ten-year term running the Federal Bureau of Investigation. He was sworn in as FBI director on September 4, 2013.
And there we go. We don’t even need to read further. He’s a millionaire ex-Republican that was appointed by Obama. Don’t tell me that Obama is not whispering in his ear to sweep this all away to get Hillary elected, especially when Hillary’s enjoying taxpayer-funded flights on Air Force One to her next campaign destinations. Democrats might think Americans are dumb, but we see right through their cheap excuse of a plan.
Share this with every American and get the word out. America is not for sale!
