Here’s What The Polls Are Saying About Tonight’s Wisconsin Primary

The GOP candidates are squaring off in the state of Wisconsin today. The winner of the Wisconsin Primary will take home the state’s 42 winner-take-all delegates

Most polls have Texas Senator Ted Cruz leading in the Badger State. The Real Clear Politics Polling average has Ted Cruz and Donald Trump polling at 39.2% and 34.5% respectively, with Ohio Governor John Kasich trailing the leaders with 20% of the vote.

Despite Cruz’s lead in the RCP average, one recently released poll may be throwing some cold water on the Texas Senator’s chances. According to an ARG poll, Donald Trump is actually running ahead of Senator Cruz 42%-32%, a margin of 10 points. However, most polls over the past several weeks have Cruz with a comfortable lead, so there is a possibility that the ARG poll is an outlier.

The Badger State’s primary is critical for Ted Cruz, as the Senator looks to stay within striking distance of of GOP frontrunner Trump.

RCP Average 3/24-4/3 34.5% 39.2% 20%
ARG 4/1-4/3 42% 32% 23%
