Here’s Where The Polls Stand In The Remaining Primary States

With the Republican National Convention rapidly approaching, 16 state-wide contests remain in the race for the GOP presidential nomination with a total of 854 delegates still up for grabs.

Frontrunner Donald Trump, who currently has 743 delegates, will need 58% of the remaining delegates in order to lock up the nomination before the convention in July. Senator Ted Cruz, who has earned 545 delegates, has a larger hill to climb in order to lock up the nomination. Cruz would need 81% of the remaining delegates to earn the nomination on the first ballot. For Ohio Governor John Kasich, who has 143 delegates, winning the nomination prior to the convention would be a mathematical impossibility, as it would take 128% of the remaining delegates to win before July.
