John McCain’s daughter, pundit Meghan, hasn’t always been the most stalwart voice of traditional conservatism or the Republican Party. That said, this week she made a matter of fact observation that will nevertheless have “progressives” in an uproar.
On Fox News, Meghan McCain’s insight into media and liberal bias was sharp and to the point:
“She noted that most of the mainstream media is focusing on Trump’s ‘founders of ISIS’ comments while all but ignoring shocking new revelations about Clinton’s emails.
“When Donald Trump says things, it offends people sometimes and it can be controversial, but when Hillary makes mistakes, people die,” McCain said.
“Why aren’t we talking about (…) the fact that she put our security at risk?” McCain wondered.
In this case, she was referring to Iran’s execution of a nuclear scientist who was allegedly spying for the U.S. — a fact Clinton supposedly alluded to in emails that were later hacked.
If that man’s death can be linked to Clinton’s refusal to use a secure email server, that’s just another murder that’s somehow connected to the Clinton camp!
