Sometimes, just by opening their mouths, liberals prove the opposite point of the one they’re trying to make, and when they do this it usually ends up making them look far worse than they could ever imagine.
Case in point: Surrogate for Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and former Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell tried to say something in support of Clinton while bashing rival Donald Trump at the same time.
It didn’t work out so well, and just about everyone — except the liberal media — is giving him grief over it.
In an interview with The Washington Post, Rendell attempted to get in a dig at Trump. He admitted that the New York businessman would probably generate a small appeal among working-class Democrats in his state, but that Trump wouldn’t gain much traction come November.
“For every one he’ll lose one-and-a-half, two Republican women. Trump’s comments like, ‘You can’t be a 10 if you’re flat-chested,’ that’ll come back to haunt him.
“There are probably more ugly women in America than attractive women,” Rendell said. “People take that stuff personally.”
You read that right. There are probably more ugly women in American than attractive ones, according to Rendell.
Maybe that’s true in Pennsylvania; I haven’t spent that much time there. But many women elsewhere in America, ugly or not, have let Rendell know that by trying to call out The Donald on his inflammatory remarks about women, he just made one 10 times worse.
Just like a liberal.
It’s also just like the mainstream media to ignore such remarks. However, we have the Internet, where Rendell has been called out — and it’s looking “ugly” for him there, too.
Here are just a couple of examples:
Isn’t that like saying Hillary will get the “Ugly Women” vote? And people think Trump is bad??? https://t.co/xmeXcrpdpo

People do — and will — take that kind of stuff personally.
In fact, it looks pretty bad when you stop and think about what Rendell actually said.

Just what Clinton didn’t need — another man making things difficult for her.
