Amanda Coley describes the moment her two-year-old son, Jack Jack, created an instant bond with one of the most charming Disney princesses, while at Disney World on a family vacation.
Jack Jack has autism and was unable to open up to any of the other Disney characters, until he instantly warmed up to the lovely and graceful Snow White. Though a child with autism often struggles to make eye contact with an adult, Jack leaned up against her shoulder as she talked sweetly to his brother, and then stared up into her eyes with a soft smile on his face. The interaction was enough to have his mom, Amanda’s heart teeming with joy, and it brought her to tears as she watched, amazed. She describes her little Jack Jack as being “in love.”
Snow White smiled brightly back at sweet Jack Jack and hugged him until a truly magical moment happened, a dream come true for Amanda, as she watched her son lay his head on Snow White’s lap. The princess laughed and stroked his hair while he continued to smile up at her, relaxed and content.
“This is my 2 year old – Jack Jack. He was having nothing to do with any of the characters on our Disney vacation in November.” Coley wrote on YouTube. “You see, he has autism and is non-verbal. He is on the shy side with people he does not know. THEN… he met Snow White. I must have cried 1000 tears watching his interaction with her. He was in love.”
YouTube users have rightly commented that the only individuals who could possibly dislike this video would be the Wicked Queen herself and seven, very jealous dwarfs.
