Thanks to Julian Assange and the WikiLeaks leaked email dumps, voters now know Hillary Clinton has made it her policy to have one view on the issues in public and another take on the matter behind closed doors. Now, even more shocking details have surfaced indicating Hillary may have broken the law… again.
During her high-priced and (formerly) secret speeches to Wall Street bankers, Hillary Clinton may have shared classified information with the ultra-wealthy crowd, the New York Post reports. The leaked emails indicate Clinton told the lucrative potential donors classified details about the raid on Osama bin Laden’s compound.
“I was in the small group that recommended to the president that he go after bin Laden,” Hillary Clinton said in a 2013 speech on Wall Street to a Toronto business organization. “The amount of work that was required to get a strong-enough basis of information on which to plan took more than a decade. This guy used to protect bin Laden — he has just made a phone call. He said this in the phone call. We need to figure out where he is. Then, we need to follow him.”
Hillary Clinton went on to tell the foreign businessmen even more details about the Osama bin Laden raid, according to the leaked emails. She talked about how American forces found the terrorist’s compound in Abbottabad, where the Navy SEALs took out bin Laden in May 2011.
It is almost impossible to verify if what Hillary Clinton said in the speech was accurate because so many of the details were not shared with the general public. Some news reports said a tip about bin Laden’s compound was given by a Pakistani intelligence officer, but others claimed surveillance by experts in Washington unearthed the location.
The leaked emails sent to the DNC from Hillary’s campaign began in 2015. In one of the missives shared by WikiLeaks, Clinton staffers held strategy sessions to figure out how to cast Donald Trump and other “extreme” Republicans as “Pied Piper” candidates to make them “unpalatable” to Americans in an effort to enhance her chances of winning.
In addition to Donald Trump, Hillary’s campaign had Ted Cruz and Ben Carson on the list of “Pied Piper” candidates. Apparently, Clinton knew the 2016 race was not going to warmly embrace career politicians.
The same email from Hillary Clinton’s campaign advises the DNC to “force all Republican candidates to lock themselves into extreme conservative positions that will hurt them in the general election.”
“It is unsavory, and it always has been that way, but we usually end up where we need to be,” Clinton in a speech to the National Multifamily Housing Council, according to the emails shared by WikiLeaks. “But if everybody’s watching, you know, all of the backroom discussions and the deals, you know, then people get a little nervous, to say the least. So, you need both a public and a private position.”
Although complete transcripts of all of Hillary’s speeches were not shared in the John Podesta emails, excerpts from some that her campaign had noted as having the potential for political backlash are now be poured over by the eagerly prying eyes of voters.
During her paid speech to a Brazilian bank in 2013, Hillary said her “dream” is to live in a world with “open trade and open borders.” Julian Assange has promised many more emails before Election Day. So far, WikiLeaks has published 2,050 John Podesta emails.
