Liberal filmmaker Michael Moore has long used every mass shooting as a reason to push for greater restrictions on Anericans’ ability to purchase guns. In a Twitter rant after the Orlando shooting, he did exactly that, Moore claiming that AR-15 ammo has been disallowed by the Geneva convention because “it spins around and explodes in the body.”
Ammo used in AR-15/M-16 is banned by Geneva Convention. It enters the body, spins & explodes. Show the crime scene photos & the NRA is over.

It has since been reported that an AR-15 was not the weapon used in the shooting, but regardless, Moore was factually incorrect and numerous people on twitter let him know it.
@MMFlint so, literally none of that is true

Oh my Lord you are one dumb MF @MMFlint If that was the case moron the military could not use the M-16. Where do you get these delusions?

@MMFlint Who are you kidding? Geneva Conventions cover treatment of prisoners or civilians. Nothing to do with weaponry.

Despite the Twitter beatdown, Moore continued with his anti-gun crusade, returning to Twitter to say any member of Congress who doesn’t vote for a ban on assault weapons by Friday should be removed from office.
