Myth Busted: Trump did not support DeBlasio, Obama, Cuomo, Clinton or Jimmy Carter

Ted Cruz has often made it a campaign “highlight” at his speeches that Trump supported Bill DeBlasio, Anthony Weiner, Andrew Cuomo, and Jimmy Carter.

It appears that this is the furthest thing from the truth.

“I think he’s a smart guy that knows what’s going on really big league and I think he is not going to want to destroy New York,” Trump said. “I think he is going to want to make New York great.”

De Blasio has been leading his Republican opponent, Joe Lhota, in the polls by a staggering margin.

As for his own political future, the newspaper reported that Trump remained vague repeating he is not interested in running for governor of New York, but said 2016 might be possible if the “right person” does not step forward.
Meanwhile Trump endorsed Lhota and praised GOP rival Katsmantandis.

Trump endorsed Carl Paladino in the 2010 election, and considered running against Cuomo in 2014 for Governor.

Despite what Glenn Beck said, Trump endorsed McCain and Romney against Obama.

Trump actively endorsed and fundraised for Reagan, and even sat on the GOP RNC in 1988 for Bush.

We give this claim 4 Lyin’ Ted’s out of 4.
