Hacker Guccifer 2.0 strikes again!
On Wednesday the anonymous hacker leaked a number of documents that should prove embarrassing for Democrats. According to the hacker, the documents were acquired from the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) as well as House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi.
Guccifer 2.0 announced the new info-dump on his website, claiming that some come directly from Pelosi’s computer:
Hi everyone As you see I’ve been gradually posting DCCC docs on different states. But besides that I have a folder from the Nancy Pelosi’s PC and I’d like to share some docs from it with you. They are related to immigration, Hispanics, BLM, Islam and other issues. So here they are
Perhaps the most significant document to be leaked is a memo to DCCC staffers regarding the Black Lives Matter movement. The email, dated November 19, 2015 warns the reader that “This document should not be emailed or handed to anyone outside of the building. Please only give campaign staff these best practices in meetings or over the phone.” [emphasis in original]
It’s not surprising that the DCCC would want to keep this memo secret, it appears to show what Democrats really think of the Black Lives Matter movement. Amongst other things, the memo calls the group “radical” and suggests that congressional campaign staffers “don’t offer support for concrete policy positions.” In other words, Democrats should pay lip service to the movement, but not much more.

Another leaked document reveals the Democratic messaging strategy on Benghazi. The document, entitled “Benghazi Aftermath“, offers a number of talking points to counter Republican accusations that the 2012 attack was a result of Obama’s failed foreign policy. In the leaked document, Democrats acknowledge that U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice gave out misleading information in during her Sunday morning media-blitz following the attack.
“On September 16, then-Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice gave incorrect information on television, suggesting the attacks arose spontaneously from a protest of an anti-Islam video produced in the United States, which contradicted some early reports and which later proved false,” the document reads. “The violence is now believed to have been a planned attack by extremists with ties to Islamist anti-Qaddafi militias, which were gaining power in the post-Qaddafi vacuum.”
The new revelations are just the latest hacker-related embarrassment for Democrats. Sources, including WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, claim that there will be more documents released in the coming months. Forthcoming releases, according to Assange, will include previously unseen emails from Hillary Clinton’s private email server.
