The forces that be are doing all they can to stop Trump from seizing the nomination, bringing in mega donors from wall street to raise a whopping $31 million in a single week for Senator Ted Cruz, who’s failing miserably against the businessman.
The four super PACs are calling themselves collectively “Keep the Promise,” and submitted paperwork to the FEC earlier this week. an Austin CPA and attorney with very close personal ties to Senator Cruz named Dathan Voelter is leading the PACs.
In a statement to Bloomberg, who broke the story, Mr. Voelter said: “”Our goal is to guarantee Senator Cruz can compete against any candidate. Supporters of the Senator now have a powerful vehicle with the resources necessary to aid in his effort to secure the Republican nomination and win back The White House.”
The New York primary is the next major vote between Cruz and Trump, with Trump expecting the trounce on the Senator.
