REPORT: Here’s How Much Money Hillary Has Given To Veterans

Following renewed and heightened scrutiny by the liberal media into exactly how much was raised and where it was distributed, billionaire businessman and presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump held a press conference Tuesday to share details regarding his fundraiser on behalf of veterans.

Trump revealed that his event had raised more than $5.6 million that had been dispersed to more than 40 different veterans groups and challenged skeptical liberal reporters: “Find out how much Hillary Clinton’s given to the veterans.”

While it is unlikely that the liberal media would jump at the chance to dig into the murky depths of the Clinton Family Foundation finances, where they might uncover evidence of dubious ethical and legal transactions and then be forced to report on them, Breitbart dove right in.

Their quick search of public records over recent years revealed that the Bill and Hillary Clinton Family Foundation has donated roughly $70,000 to a handful of military and veterans groups.

These findings were based on public 990 tax filings for the foundation, since it doesn’t publicly disclose the recipients of donations, leaving open the possibility that the Clintons may have donated more than $70,000 to veterans causes.

The known recipients of donations from the Clinton Family Foundation include the Friends Of American Lake Veterans Golf Course, which received $25,000 in 2009.

In 2010, $20,000 was dispersed to three different groups; $10,000 to Any Soldier, $5,000 to Operation Gratitude, and $5,000 to the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society.

The Foundation gave $5,000 to Our Military Kids, Inc. in 2011, as well as $10,000 to Operation Homefront and $5,000 to Operation Hat Trick in 2012.

Operation Hat Trick received an additional $5,000 from the Foundation in 2014, the latest donation to a military or veterans groups to be found in public records.

The media wanted to criticize the details of Trump’s fundraiser for veterans that resulted in millions of dollars going towards veteran’s causes, while overlooking the fact that Hillary Clinton has largely ignored veterans, despite having hundreds of millions of dollars of foundation money at her fingertips.

Please share this on Facebook and Twitter to help spread the rather large disparity between what Trump raised for veterans and what Hillary’s own foundation has done for veterans.
