Retired General: It’s Been Demoralizing Serving Under Obama

A retired American general has revealed how “demoralizing” it has been to serve under Obama. Why are we not surprised? In fact, we’d be surprised if this were not the case. Whether serving under Obama has been worse than serving under Bill Clinton remains unknown. But neither of these presidents showed the respect owed to those in uniform.

In what can only be described as a depressing look into a possible future, it’s been reported that Hillary has shown no respect or even decency to military personnel all the way back to her days of usurping power from her husband during his presidency.

What has the retired general actually said?

Freed from the restrictions of political correctness placed on him while in active service, a retired general spoke frankly on how “demoralizing” it was to serve during the Obama administration. No surprise there.  Let’s see what a liberated General Norman Ham had to say.

“Sequestration severely handicapped our military training-wise, readiness, equipment, facilities,” he said. “It was demoralizing. Your whole job as a general is to take care of people; because when you take care of people, you get the mission done. We weren’t allowed to take care of the people the way we needed to take care of people.”

“Now that I don’t have to be politically correct anymore,” he told the host, “it was demoralizing to work for Obama.”

Again, we’re not surprised that Mr. Obama doesn’t care about the welfare of the military he is supposed to lead. And it shows in the turnover Obama has experienced.

According to Ham, the current administration has shuffled through military leaders because many disagreed with Obama’s policies.

“We’re on our fourth secretary of defense,” he said. “There’s a reason for that. None of them gave Obama the answer that he wanted.”

Now if all of that isn’t depressing enough, well, do we need to even say it?  A new word, with a stronger connotation than “demoralizing,” would have to be invented were Hillary to ascend to the presidency.
