Senator Drops STUNNING New Allegation…The Clinton Foundation Is…

Here comes another high-ranking politico to condemn Hillary Clinton’s curious State ties with her family foundation’s fundraising.

Sen. John Cornyn, former attorney general of Texas and present Senate Majority Whip, said he’s having trouble accepting Clinton’s explanations of her State Department dealings with some of the same sources her family foundation took money from in recent years.

And in fact, the senior ranking senator from Texas said he’s watched her closely in the years since he held up her confirmation to State due to concerns about “pay-to-play” allegations circling the Clinton Foundation – and he finds the scene “absolutely deplorable,” he said, Breitbart reported.

“When I put a hold on Mrs. Clinton’s nomination as secretary of State, she reassured me that they would take appropriate steps,” Cornyn said, to the media outlet. “As seems to be usual for the Clintons, they crossed the line and all the concerns that she reassured me would not occur, did in fact occur.”

Cornyn said Clinton’s expert at the political game – at appearing ethical while dodging ethical standards. Clinton, for instance, was required to sign an ethics pledge before she took the secretary of State slot that said, in short, she would reveal all donations to the Clinton Foundation. But did she?

Not at all.

“She was playing both sides,” he said. “As she was performing her job of secretary of State, the Clinton Foundation was shaking down donors who were buying access. It’s absolutely deplorable.”

Cornyn also said to the Hill that the whole fiasco surrounding the pay-to-play allegations are just par for the course in how Clinton and the Obama administration operate.

“Once again,” he said, “the rules don’t apply to them like they apply to everybody else.”

He also said that if he had a second chance, he wouldn’t vote to confirm her to State.
