Former NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal has recently appeared on Fox and Friends and really did show Colin Kaepernick about true patriotism. Shaq was asked about Colin’s decision to remain seated during the national anthem, and he said that he would never do something similar.

“I don’t really have a say on it but I would never do that. My father was a military man and he protected this country — uncles are in law enforcement, they go out and work hard every day. Just, you know, there are other ways to get your point across,” said Shaq.
“How come you didn’t decide to do this last year or the year before that or the year before that? I’m aware of all the issues, but my question is how come he didn’t do it last year or how come you didn’t do it when you first entered the NFL?” asked Shaq. A very good point.
He continued to speak about how Bill Russel and Muhammad Ali boycotted one thing during their whole careers once they appeared on the scene. See the video below for more information.
