This is exactly why we are in the mess that we are. Unstable liberal professors are filling our young people’s minds with garbage.
Apparently, a professor at Rutgers University feels it is okay to talk about shooting people because he’s mad about the election. “[W]ill the 2nd Amendment be as cool when I buy a gun and start shooting at random [sic] white people or no?,” he asked on Twitter on November 10th, per BPR.
Fortunately, the authorities were alerted and took the professor’s words seriously. On Tuesday night, the NYPD showed up at Professor Kevin Allred’s house to take him to Bellevue Hospital for a psychological evaluation.
“NYPD just came to my house b/c Rutgers Police told them I’m a threat based on political statements I’ve made on campus and on Twitter,” Allred tweeted Tuesday night.
So, this rant didn’t last a few hours following President-Elect Donald Trump’s victory over Hillary Clinton on November 8th. No, no. This rant is a week old and still chugging at full speed. He was even ranting on campus—encouraging our youth to feel the same, no doubt.
“This is for exercising my [expletive] first amendment rights. I’m being labeled a threat,” he added. Uh, note to the good Guru — the First Amendment doesn’t cover death threats. Pretty sure we learned that in middle school.
Allred, who teaches women’s and gender studies, is no stranger to politics. He created and teaches the course Politicizing Beyonce.
From their website: “‘Politicizing Beyoncé’ is an interdisciplinary college course, created by Kevin Allred, that attempts to think through contemporary U.S. society and its current gender, race, class, and sexual politics by analyzing the music and career of Beyoncé Giselle Knowles Carter.”
Ah, ladies and gentlemen, your tax dollars at work. The fault isn’t just with Rutgers—we’re dealing with a nationwide epidemic of political nonsense. The students of these liberal professors are coming undone because the newly elected president doesn’t share all of their political views. The students are coming undone!
But it’s not only the students. Those days are gone. Now, it’s the professors themselves! We are paying these people to hold these values and infuse them into our youth. A wise man once said, “A student when fully trained will be like his teacher.” What a mess.
Thanks, Professor Allred, for giving us an inside look at today’s higher education. I mean, it’s nice to see how they make the sausage.
