There is a half-joking phrase that emerges every election around the Chicago area: Vote early and vote often. It is a reference to the fact that in ever election in that toddlin’ town many dead people vote, and they always vote Democrat.
This notion isn’t exclusive to Chicago. In fact, it is a realistic description of just about every major city in the United States; that Democrats and Progressives have ruled in these metropolises for decades shouldn’t be given short shrift. So, when a Democrat is captured on video telling the truth about voter fraud in New York, the obvious response from political insiders is to call for his head. That’s exactly what is happening to New York City Board of Elections commissioner Alan Schulkin, who outed voter fraud in the Big Apple. (NY Post)
As Election Day gets closer, the subject of voter fraud is getting more attention and rightly so. With the nation so evenly divided between those who cherish freedom and liberty and those who have become dependent on government intervention, voter fraud will, sadly, play a big part in the vote.
While the mainstream media and Democrats like to paint a picture that voter fraud is a myth, that is only happens in isolated instances, the truth of the matter is that Democrats have benefited from voter fraud for decades. The Project Veritas video of Schulkin is simply validation of that reality.
On the clandestinely recorded video, Schulkin is seen saying, “Certain neighborhoods in particular, they bus people around to vote…They put them in a bus and go poll site to poll site.”
This is a commonality in many of the major cities. Community organizing groups, under the guise of facilitating the vote, load buses full of homeless and indigent people, sometimes with the promise of food or money, and instruct them on how to go into the polling places and who to vote for.
And while Progressives will automatically try to disparage the accusation as “racist” because they assume the allegation is centered on most Black communities, Schulkin shatters that spin. When asked if he meant black and Hispanic neighborhoods in his comments about bussing people in he expounded, “Yeah, and Chinese, too.”
And what was the Democrat and Progressive political hierarchy’s response to the exposure of this systematic voter fraud? Did they call for an investigation into the allegations so that the crimes could be rectified? No, instead, they are calling for Shulkin’s resignation.
Of course, Schulkin was probably not long for his position anyway, what with Progressives on the march in New York. His position on voter ID laws doesn’t jibe with the win-at-any-cost mentality of today’s Democrat Party.
Schulkin is on record as being pro-voter ID. He has been quoted in the past as saying, “You know, I don’t think it’s too much to ask somebody to show some kind of an ID…You go into a building, you have to show them your ID.”
And why not? Schulkin’s job, by definition, is to maintain the integrity of the ballot box. That is what people on election commissions are supposed to do. They are not supposed to be political operatives and advocates for a political party.
“People think [opposing voter-ID laws is] a liberal thing to do, but I take my vote seriously,” Schulkin said. “I don’t want 10 other people coming in negating my vote by voting for the other candidate when they aren’t even registered voters.”
You have to hope that Schulkin resists the calls for his resignation and fights to keep his job. While voter fraud will, no doubt, still occur in New York, at least there is someone on the election commission who is courageous enough to tell the truth…even if it was in a private conversation.
